Southern Utah beef, without the guesswork
Southern Utah Beef is a local, family-run business based in Ivins, Utah. The cattle are grass-fed on rangeland in Kane County, near Orderville and the Glendale bench, at Freedom Ranch and Sink Valley Ranch. In winter they move to grass on the Arizona Strip.
Many people want to know where their meat comes from and to choose their own cuts, but buying a whole animal can feel confusing. We handle the explaining: what a share is, how the weights work, what it costs, and what the rules are. Call (801) 870-3399 if you want to talk it through.

The country they graze
Freedom Ranch and Sink Valley Ranch sit on grassy country in Kane County, near Orderville and the Glendale bench. That is the summer range. Winter takes the herd to grass on the Arizona Strip.
Plain rules
You buy a share of a live animal, and you own it before processing. Meat from your share is for your household and isn't resold.
Local first
We serve St. George, Ivins, Santa Clara, Washington and Hurricane. The cattle graze grass in Kane County near Orderville and the Glendale bench, and on the Arizona Strip in winter.
Why shares?
A share lets you buy the whole range of cuts, plan meals ahead, and know where your food came from. It takes a little planning, mainly freezer space and timing, and we help with both.
